Parts that have been irrevocably lost have been replaced by equivalent parts from other vessels while others have undergone a more thorough refit or, as a last alternative recreated by using photographs taken or descriptions written by those who served on board. There are a aft cabin for four persons and a mess/galley with two bunks in the fore parts of the vessel. The only change from original layout is the exclusive toilet in the forepeak that is a substitute for the bucket in the engine room.
